Foie Gras with Apple stew (for 6 persons) Cost: 18€ / 3€ by person
600g of foie gras fresh
1-6 apple(s) "Golden"
20-40g of butter
Prepare apples: peel them and take out the core, cut in slices.
Put a little bit of butter inside the pan and cook the apples during 5-8 minutes or until they become transparent. Reserve them with all the juice in the separate dish.
Slice the foie gras (~1-2cm). Optional put on both sides in flour and put on the hot pan, cook during 2-5 minutes of each side.
Serve the apple stew with foie gras on. Add salt and pepper in last moment.
