250g of corn semolina "Polenta"

1,5l of water

some salt

When the water is boiled put the salt, take away for a moment from warm and slowly put semolina of corn inside the water.

Cover the pot and let cook very slowly during 25 minutes.

Sometimes mix the porridge.

Old recipe says to present the polenta on the wood. Let the porridge rest during 10 to 20 minutes before to cut with string and serve inside the dishes.

Usually you serve the polenta with sauce or meat.
