Roasted Veal (for 4 persons) Cost: 17 / 4.25 by person

1.2kg veal (prepared already with fat around)

700g carrots

1-2 red onions

2 cloves of garlic

1 cube vegetable broth

500g shallots

salt and pepper

Ask your butcher to prepare the veal.

Boil 0.5l of water and add broth to dissolve. Put the veal in cake tin and add broth on, cook in the oven in 200 degrees Celsius for 20min.

Peel and slice carrots, red onions and shallots. Peel and chop thinly garlic. Reserve in big bowl.

In the pan warm up vegetable oil and add all the vegetables you prepared in the bowl. Cook slowly, add salt, pepper and 5cl of water, cover with top and continue for 40-50 minutes mixing often.

After 20 minutes exit from oven the veal, turn and put the broth on very regularly. Cook for 50 minutes more, total 1 hour 10 minutes.
