Sorrel Soup Cost: 3.4€ for 3 persons
200g fresh sorrels
5 slices fresh or smoked bacon
2 hard boiled eggs
2tbsp. thick cream
1/2 cube of vegetable broth
Clean very well the fresh sorrels. Chop it and reserve in separate bowl.
In the pot boil 1,5-2l of water, then add groats and continue to cook 10min.
In separate pan cook sliced bacon, reserve on absorbing paper.
Peel and cut in cubes the potatoes, add with vegetable broth and continue to cook the soup for 10min.
Add sorrels, salt, pepper, cook 5 min and serve with thick cream, bacon and chopped hard boiled eggs.
